Join us in Hocking County, Ohio, for the 2025 Birds in the Hills Festival during spring migration in Appalachia! Enjoy the rolling hills filled with wildflowers, medicinal forest species, and a variety of birds. This event welcomes birders of all levels of experience to come together and enhance their passion.

The Birds in the Hills Festival features a variety of habitats, including reclaimed prairie, early successional forest, hemlock gorges, and mature hardwood uplands. This habitat allows for a diverse and exciting array of bird species, including Blackpoll Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Yellow Warbler, Indigo Bunting, American Redstart, Scarlet Tanager, Orchard Oriole, Acadian Flycatcher, Black-billed Cuckoo, Ovenbird, and Wood Thrush.

Whether you are a seasoned birder enthusiast or are just beginning your life-long journey of birding, the Birds in the Hills Festival has something for you. We offer a variety of ticket options. In addition, tickets will also be available for purchase at the festival venue.

The early bird tickets are on sale from now until February 3, 2025, and prices will increase by $20 after that.
